On March 31st, we experienced one of those events that perfectly encapsulates what running is all about: product, community, and real-world experience. At 365Rider, we organized a Test Day with Puma, where we put one of their most important models to the test: Puma Deviate Nitro 4.
The setting couldn't have been better: the old Turia riverbed, one of the most iconic places to run in Valencia. And, as always, surrounded by great people: the Sporcks running club, who made the training session about more than just kilometers.
Understanding the shoe before running: the key to the event
Before heading out for a ride, we started the day in the store with a technical talk about the Puma Deviate Nitro 4.
This point was key, because it allowed participants to go out and train knowing exactly what they were testing and why. It wasn't just about running in new shoes, but understanding their purpose within the training.

Key points that were explained:
- Improved NITROFOAM™ foamDesigned to maximize energy return, helping to maintain higher paces with less fatigue.
- PWRPLATE Carbon PlateIt provides a feeling of constant propulsion, ideal for quality training.
- 8mm drop (38mm / 30mm): balance between damping and responsiveness.
- Weight of 250 g: lightweight within its category, which makes it versatile.
- PUMAGRIP soleReliable traction on different surfaces.
- Breathable upper made with recycled materials: performance with a sustainable focus.
The idea was clear: a versatile shoe designed for runners who want train fastnot just compete.

The test: taking them to the real world
With all the information internalized, it was time to go out to the Turia.
The training was planned progressively, combining controlled rhythms with more lively sections, right where the Deviate Nitro 4 begins to show its character.
Community running: the differentiating value
Sporcks' group provided that component that cannot be manufactured: the atmosphere.
Different profiles, different paces, but the same intention: to enjoy running and the test. Throughout the run, constant conversations arose about sensations, technique, and comparisons with other models.
The best ending: empanadas and post-run conversation
After the training session, we returned to the store to end the experience in style: community meal.
That moment where the event truly gains value:
- Hot feedback on the shoe
- Exchange of opinions between brokers
- And that relaxed atmosphere that turns a test into an experience
