They are already here! Many of you were waiting for them. The New Balance Supertrainer is renewed with important changes that will make it one of the most versatile models on the market. The New Balance Supercomp Trainer v3 evolves following the line of models such as the SC Elite v4 or Rebel v4. This positions it as a shoe with the best in the world of competition, but aimed at daily training, thanks to its combination of cushioning and energy return provided by the innovative technology of its midsole. Propulsion in Every Step: FuelCell and Carbon Plate

Its midsole bears the signature of New Balance's FuelCell, but as we have already seen in other models such as the Elite or the Rebel, its composition can vary depending on the focus of the shoe. The Supercomp Trainer combines supercritical PEBA, which will give it that elastic and reactive touch along with EVA material, responsible for giving it greater durability. Between its two pieces of foam we find an Energy Arc carbon fiber plate, somewhat thinner than in the competition model. This will give it greater flexibility and therefore make it more user-friendly in daily use. And as always, if we turn the shoe, we find along the midsole (at least up to the middle area) the exposed plate, leaving space for the FuelCell to expand when compressed and release more energy.

More Breathable Upper

The upper of the shoes is made of a lightweight, breathable mesh that offers a secure and comfortable fit. FANTOMFIT technology ensures that the foot remains well supported throughout the race, without adding seams or invasive materials. The tongue is not too padded but enough to not notice the laces on the instep and it also fits well, eliminating unwanted movement.

More Protection on the Sole

The sole of the Supercomp Trainer v3 also receives important changes, especially in the front part. In this area in the last version we found that the plate was exposed, protected by a small plastic piece. As we said previously, the plate is exposed only up to the middle area, leaving the entire metatarsal area covered in rubber.

Designed for Training and Racing

The New Balance Supercomp Trainer v3, as we have said, are classified as Supertrainers. By this we mean that although they have the brand's fastest foam and also a carbon plate, they are actually shoes for daily training. Especially oriented towards long distances due to their great cushioning, they perform perfectly both on more relaxed days and in training at lively and sustained paces. If you are a runner or triathlete who prioritizes stability and protection and do not want to give up dynamism, it is also a great option.
